Telehealth services M- TH.  In person services on T and TH

Member of PsyPact and able to provide interstate Telehealth Services

I am available to provide individual, couples, or family therapy to address a wide range of issues including mood disorders such as depression or anxiety, trauma and abuse, insomnia, stress management and building coping skills, ADHD, OCD, development issues, parenting challenges, life transitions, and bereavement.

When people ask me how I approach working with a new client, I explain that I have an Ecological orientation. To understand each individual, I want to learn about his or her primary relationships, how these people interact with my client, how their relationships with each other impact my client as well as how the context of school, home and community impact that person. In addition to traditional psychotherapy I incorporate ACT, CBT, Mindfulness, EMDR/ Bilateral Stimulation, play therapy, Neurobiology, CBT-I (treatment for Insomnia), and art therapy approaches into my practice.

I am available for consultation to an individual or for groups such as In-Service training, EAP seminars or stress reduction in the workplace. I often meet with schools and physicians to provide training for their staff or provide feedback when challenges arise or to provide support and a new perspective. Recent in-service trainings include: Stress Management, Limit Setting, Childhood Depression and Anxiety, Anxiety, Fears and Obsessive Thinking, Building Self-Esteem in Children, and Understanding Developmental Expectations.

In providing the best services possible, it is often necessary to speak with physicians, teachers, or other professionals with whom you or your children are meeting with often. The most comprehensive information is gathered and the richest opportunity for support is created.

I am a firm believer in sharing information with my clients. I have included some content from recent presentations to help provide professional, clinical information in an accessible manner. Assessment and Education are the first two parts of any successful treatment. I am happy to answer your questions and set up a brief phone consultation at your convenience.

My office is in Skokie, just a few blocks north of Westfield/Old Orchard Shopping. I offer therapy via telehealth  M-TH, 10-7, and

I provide in-person sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  I am a member of PsyPact and I am able to provide teletherapy to people in most states.
